Live Oak students, faculty, and staff joined together for a sing-along this past Friday in the Grand Hall to cap off Week of Service. Music faculty Jill, Michael, and Amy led the group through a range of Civil Rights-themed songs.
Seventh graders took part in a pair of service field trips this past week. One group spent the morning at the San Francisco Sequoia Living community, while the other group volunteered their time and effort at the La Raza Community Resource Center.
Second graders welcomed their parents/guardians to the Grand Hall on Tuesday for a publishing party where they got to share their work on non-fiction and biography pieces.
