Dorothy is part of a four-generation family of actors, poets, and musicians in a bilingual theater troupe. She continues to stay active in theater as a costume designer, scene and production coordinator, and manages a political performing collective. Dorothy moved to San Francisco to finish a degree in fashion design and to work with various theater groups. She has worked with extended study programs in SFUSD in addition to working with organizations such as the Mission YMCA of SF as program director for ExCEL ASP, and the Randall Museum summer camps. She began working at Live Oak in August of 2007. In her spare time she likes to go on family trips, listen to music, see live theater, and play tennis. dorothy_martinez@liveoaksf.org
