It was a pleasure to welcome over 300 guests to Grandparents and Special Friends Day this past Friday. The special people in our students’ lives got to experience a taste of Live Oak during their morning on campus thanks to a collective effort of our parent/guardian volunteers and our faculty for welcoming everyone into the Live Oak community.
The Class of 2026 is nearing the end of their week-long Civil Rights Tour through the South. Their experiential learning trip is taking them through notable stops in Atlanta, GA, Montgomery, AL, Selma, AL, Birmingham, AL, and more as they take in a host of impactful experiences rooted in the Civil Rights Movement.
On Thursday morning, third graders welcomed their parents/guardians to the Grand Hall for a showcase of their writing from throughout the semester. Visitors and students alike took turns reading the mix of fiction and nonfiction works that our students have completed.
