Live Oak’s mission to support the potential and promise of every learner mandates we infuse students’ lessons and units of study with meaning making. As our students build skills and understandings, they apply their new knowledge and capacities to solve problems, express themselves, pursue passions, connect with others, and make an impact on the people and the places around them. Their full potential and promise is realized only when their learning is put to use, in service to their fulfillment and in service to the wellbeing of others. This week, a panel of Live Oak’s faculty shared the stories of our students’ learning journey, expansive in the development of content knowledge and skills, and infused with purpose, meaning, and change-making.
